Can't sleep?
It's late where you are. Somewhere else it's lunchtime — and somewhere else again, somebody is staring at the ceiling too.
Yell one line into the sky and it flies across the Earth to whoever is awake. Say what is keeping you up, or say nothing much at all. Nobody knows who you are, and it costs nothing.
It's quiet here. There is nothing to scroll, and you can close it whenever you like. Then try to sleep.
We count the yells sent at three in the morning. You can see how many in the state of the world.
If the nights have been hard for a while, you don't have to carry that alone. findahelpline.com lists free helplines by country.
Questions people ask
Is it really anonymous?
Yes. You don't give a name, an email or a phone number, and we don't look up where you are. Other people see your words beside a number and the flag you chose. Anonymous isn't private, though: what you yell is public. The privacy notice has the details.
Will anyone answer?
Maybe. Whoever is here can reply to a yell, and sometimes someone does. Sometimes nobody is here, and your yell drifts in the void for whoever comes by later. We can't promise an answer.
Is it free?
Yes. Yelling is free, and so is reading and replying. You can buy 📣 to make a yell louder, and you never have to.
Is this a helpline?
No. It's a place to let things out, not counselling or an emergency service, and nobody watches the sky around the clock. If you're in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, please call your local emergency number or a helpline — findahelpline.com lists free ones by country.
