Yell to the World · 向世界呐喊

Why this site exists

Some nights you feel stuck and weighed down, and you just want to shout at the sea. We made this site because we wanted to know: is anyone else in the world feeling the same?

Yell to the world. And listen to how the world answers.

Nobody knows who you are. Maybe nobody hears. Maybe someone answers — kind, unkind, or funny. Everything here has been recorded since day one, including the days nobody came.

How it works

You type one line and send it. It flies across the sky, where whoever is here at that moment can see it. If nobody is, it drifts in the void, where someone may come across it later.

It's free. You can pay to make a yell louder, and you never have to.

What we keep, and what we count

Every day gets a page of its own with what the world yelled that day. The numbers — how many came, from where, in what mood — are in the state of the world. They are this site's own numbers and say nothing about the real world.

We don't ask who you are, and we don't look up where you are. The flag beside a yell is the one its sender chose.

Your yell is yours to take back

Open My yells in the sky and remove it. It leaves the sky, and its day's page soon after.

Free, not lawless

Say what you feel — about your day, your boss, the weather, your government. What doesn't fly here: attacks on people for who they are, threats, scams, and other people's private details.
